Sony SCD-CE595 vs SCD-C2000ES Initial Impressions

Disclaimer: I am not qualified to give audio product reviews. Heck, I'm sure if I were to apply for an audiophile card, a strong rebuttal and denial would be returned. Be that as it may, roll "Fanfare for the Common Man"...
I've had the CE595 for a few months thanks to Danny Tse pointing out the $59 refurb units on the Sony Style website. Today, I picked up the C2000ES from AndyGwis. Thanks guys.
Both units look identical except the C2000ES has phono jacks and level control. Also, the C2000ES has both Coaxial and Optical outs. The CE595 only has optical. There's also a 2 channel out in addition to the analog 5.1 channel output on the C2000ES. The CE595 uses the left and right channel outputs on the analog 5.1 for 2 channels. There's no separate 2 channel outputs. For the remote, the CE595's version is very spartan whereas the C2000ES has many more options (too much to list here), including the ability to directly enter the track #. You'll have to skip tracks to get where you want on the CE595.
Sonically, I can't tell the difference between the two units in SACD mode while listening to Diana Krall, "The Look of Love". For redbook, I doubt I'll pass a blind test. I think the CE595 is a bit brighter? Maybe??
I submit this information in case anybody out there is looking for a low cost SACD player. The CE595 is a killer budget player (the C2000ES is $399 new). The C2000ES's remote can control the CE595 so if you can pick up a CE595 for $59 and get your hands on a broken C2000E just for the remote, that would be a great deal.
In case you didn't already know, both of these are 5 disk carousel units. They're both slow to scan and read the CD's, especially if you switch from SACD mode to CD mode (not sure why you would do so). Shuffle All CD's isn't bad and at times I load the player entirely with Diana Krall especially after a very trying day at work.
My dogs love her. They pass out whenever I have her on. Doesn't work with Sarah Brightman, though, but I digress...

I actually based my purchase of the 595 on that review plus help from Danny. That's a very good review.

Nice review. Did you notice anything else since you have now used that ES player for another week? Can you tell the model number of the remote that comes with the C2000ES?

No, I haven't noticed anything new but then I have my 595 sitting in my office unplugged at the moment so I haven't been comparing them.
Here's a pic of the remotes.
