Outlaw PCA Interconnects

Hello,

I am awaiting a pair of Outlaw Monoblocks to power my LSi25s. A question about the Outlaw PCA Interconnects. One of the options to set up the LSi25s active subs in addition to a seperate subwoofer is to use Y cables connected into the monoblock amps as well as the pre-outs in my preamp ... my question is can I use an outlaw PCA Interconnect to go from the Y-cable to the sub connection on the LSi25? In the LSi25 owners manual (avaible online) it shows to use an RCA cable .... are the Outlaw PCA the same as an RCA cable? Outlaw offers subwoofer PCAs but these are too long for the LSi25 subs. Please advise.

Here is a link to the cables page on Outlaw.com:

I was just about to order and thought I would ask on here before I made a mistake. I hope someone answers my question as I am excited to get this system up and running.

Thanks.

Zsolt

An Outlaw PCA cable is an RCA cable. I use them in my rig. Decent cable.

Thanks for the reply. I went ahead and ordered them, figuring if they werent the right cord I could find a place elsewhere for them :)

I ended up ordering a pair of the Outlaw PCA Y-Adapters, a pair of 1.2 meter Outlaw PCA connects and a pair of Signal Cable Ultra Speaker Cable (10 gauge). Hoping these will be superior to the connects and larger gauge speaker wire the LSIs would have been stuck with if I hadnt decided to splurge a little on them.

Well that whole deal fell through! Outlaw wanted to charge me $271 for shipping for my 2 Outlaw 2200 monoblocks and $99 shipping for the RCA intercnnects and Y-cables. Just because I live in butt __ck no where in Canada ... I cancelled that pretty fast.

Back plan is to order some silver RCA interconnects from Signal Cable as well as silver Y cables which Frank at Signal cable said would be no problem. A bit more expensive but Id rather put my money towards upgrading the cable than putting it towards shipping!!!!! My Ultra Reference cables from Frank should be in anyday now .. cant wait to grasp at the thick speaker wire putting my current 14 gauge to shame.

After looking at Audiogon for a couple months and finding out the shipping will be 200-300$ for pretty much anything plus duties I investigated one of the local (well 2 hours away) audio specialty shops Ive only stepped in once to but was intimidated by the B&W speaker prices and McIntosh Amp prices found that they infact sell Rotel, ATI, NAD ... no Parasound or Sunfire though. I know that new will be a rip off but should I pay 400-600$ for shipping and duties on top of the used price? Doesnt seem like that much of a bargain when most prices are not that far of retail new sometimes.

Frank @ Signal Cable is top notch.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
