Hey guys, I need your help. I keep finding all over those audio tower type stands but what I'm looking for is a longer one kind of like a sofa table.

maybe 55 " wide by 36 inches high. Where I can put my componants lengthways side by side So I could put my amp on the top part and two componants on either side. Has anyone seen something like this

I have honestly never seen anything like that.

Or maybe buy a heavy sofa table.:D
Trouble with that is if the wife decides to hijack it.

A flexi rack might not be the best choice for long
    shelves and heavy weight.

I've been seeing a lot of longer audio/video racks for
for supporting HDTV's, but always with a shelf.
Might be time to try some better furniture consignment shops.
Then you'll have to see about creating a vibration control scheme
that works. Like Russman's floating CDP stand.

Jim, have you ever checked out some of the Plateau furniture. I like some of it and the price is right.

Sofa tables typically aren't very deep and IMO would look a little weird with full size components on it......might look better with a mini-shelf system........

    Just a FWIW -

I built a rack very similar to that -

With SOLID wood and veneered plywood and spent like 30 dollars more...

    DIY is a great option.
