Reminds me of each of their product debuts. Anyone remember Windows ME - we'll say the same about Vista in a couple years...

    Seriously, that was brutal.

Did make me want to upgrade to DOS 5 though. Did you see that drag and drop capability? Cutting edge **** there.

Man, I remember the place I worked at back then. We bought so many PC's in that era that we had a huge box filled with nothing but Dos 5.0 floppy disks. Had to be thousands.

    Dos 5 was the ****!

Miss the old days some times!

I used Dos 5.0 shell for a while.
My oldest son liked it quite a bit. It definately cut down on typing.
I skipped all that windows crap until 95 came out.
Windows 3.0 and 3.1 were POS.

The real problem was freeing up 48k in the first 640k. How many times did
someone give up on a game when you couldn't get it to load up.
DOS was both the best and worst thing to happen to personal computing.
I remember setting up different boot disks for the kids so they could get a game to run. What a PITA.

Now, they kids are putting on clear covers and pretty lights.
    Welcome to modern tech.
Remember when there wasn't a legit way to buy DOS without buying a pc?
