Blown amp help

I'm sure somebody had this happen! I just blew an amp channel (Anthem solid state) while playing my wonderful 1.2 TL's. Drats!! GLAD IT WAS NOT A SPEAKER!! Anyway, could this be as simple as a fuse that governs one of the channels? Or, is it likely that a component blew? This happened because of short between the 2 speaker binding posts for the blown channel (copper stranded speaker wire touched during play)....yeah, I know. Any thoughts greatly appreciated. TIA!!

Probably a fuse....check and replace, if it blows again w/o a short then there maybe other damage as a result.
H9"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. i'm guessing a fuse too.. open her up and see if the fuse(s) are good.. it's tough to tell sometimes.. those fuse wires are so thin. good luck though.PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

Yes, took Danger's advice and opened it up. Found a bad fuse on the bad channel's board. Now, gotta find my magnifying glass and see if I can read it. I will replace and see if nothing else is wrong. Hope I get lucky. Thanks!
