So - I moved in to college last week and am stuck with this lousy system:
polkaudio RT35 Bookshelves
polkaudio 255c-RT Inwalls
polkaudio DSWPro550WI
polkaudio XRT12 XM Tuner
polkaudio RM6750 5.1

Front projection, 2 channel, car audio... life is good!

Study hard so you can get out in 4 years with a high paying job to pay for new A/V equipment.

But then you met a cheerleader and married her. $$$

But then you bought a house. $$$

But then she got pregnant. $$$

But then you needed a minivan to haul the kids around. $$$

Finally, at age 35 you can dump the 13" Zenith.

    Welcome to the rat race.

    Cheers. :)

I love how music can brighten up a bad day.

I should've brought my CRT projector. And my Definitive Tech BP10Bs. But then I would have no room to study. Oh well...

Thanks, I know it's all about sacrifice but I miss my Definitives and projector.

I got a full scholarship to college, so I must maintain high grades. School keeps me busy for most of the year. I like college though, it keeps me motivated so it's a good thing.

I guess this lousy 13" TV will hold me over for the next four years.

Dorm life is for the birds......I barely lasted a year then moved back home and renovated my basement into what it is now. As far as marrying a cheerleader, getting her preggo, etc.......don't do it.....friends with benefits is all you need...keep searching till you find a few.

What kind of dorm you in? Single? Double? Triple? Quad? apartment style? bunk beds? We need details and pics!

My only experience was in a double, community potty(disgusting), showers than you had to wear sandals cause they were so slimy and sludgy....it just wasn't for me.

Yes, my dorm is just like that, shared bathroom and dirty showers, etc.

Just hit him or tell him to get headphones, my roommate knew I didn't tolerate anything.

They are the same people that think for $500 the Bose wave radio is a steal.
