is there a way to get rid of that hiss that comes fromt he highs in music?

There is two ways that I found.
1) Buy an equalizer and put it in the loop(which isn't your best bet)
2)Do some research online there is a lot of great recording software out there that lets you save your music to your hard drive and then re-mix them yourself and then burn it back on a CD-R or CD-RW after you cut or boost the freqs you need to. I have been doing this for awhile and I have had great success since I have a line running from my computer to my equipment so I can hear how the changes sound on my speakers.
