Would anyone happen to know if the iTunes Tagging Technology that has been announced for I-Sonic 2 is something that could possibly be added to the original I-Sonic via a firmware upgrade?

I would contact Polk directly for that answer.

At the top of this page just point to "Support" and click on "Contact Us/Tech Support". Then choose your method.

Let us know what you find out.

Bronx - Most likely not. It would be difficult to find a way to make the IES have that feature and meet Apple's requirements.

Oh yea, and the obvious omission of the iPod dock on the IES.
