I heard he was into a more modern type of opera. Not really my type of music but he must have been really good at it.Vinyl, the final frontier...
Avantgarde horns, 300b tubes, thats the kinda crap I want...

yeah his voice was a little too shrill for me. I like some of the other tenors that have a little bit of a mellow voice. but he was a famouse and great singer.
