Hey guys, I have a Parasound HCA-1203A 3-Channel amp which is having a problem with two of the channels getting droopy, losing between 5 and 10dB randomly, then coming back to full output. I've been troubleshooting the whole setup for a while now and I'm quite certain it's the amp.

I emailed Parasound and it looks like repair cost would run $150-$225 + shipping, which edges on being a bit too costly, since resale value I'd peg between $5-600 if working properly. Parasound support guy said it sounded like either dirty mechanical connections or a semiconducter "starting" to go - well, I've been having this problem on and off for 6 months, so I would think if a semiconducter had been starting to go, it'd be gone by now.

So, just curious if anyone in CP has experience with amp repair and might be interested in buying this on the cheap and working on it themselves. My asking price would be $350 shipped - any less than that and repair starts to make sense. It's in great condition otherwise, I can post many pics if anyone is interested.
