If I were to fit a momo 8inch into a .5 cubic foot box, would this lower the resonant frequency of the sub/box package? would the sub still be able to deliver the same spl compared to being fitted on a .33 cu. inch box?

im assuming that a larger box would yeild undesirable results, the mm series is meant to be used in a small as possible box.

Actually a .5 might sound a little better from a strict SQ standpoint. It may have a flatter response curve.

But the .35 would be just fine as well. At most itll have a small response hump around 40 Hz maybe but this is not a bad thing for casual listening. Itll make the bass seem to have more energy.
