I have a John Lee Hooker CD and I really like it. Can anyone recommend some good blues artists? About the only ones I other ones I know of are SRV and Muddy Waters. Also, a few years back there was some young white kid that I thought was pretty good, he sounded alot like SRV, but I can't remember his name. I know somebody knows who I'm talking about. Thanks.

I saw Stacy Mitchhart last month in Austin and was totally blown away by his band, guitar skills, and great sense of humour. One of the best live performances I have been to in a small club setting in a very long time. His band is the house band at BB Kings in Nashville I believe.http://www.stacymitchhart.com/default.aspx?58

The kid that you are thinking about may be Kenny Wayne Shephard,,,also check out Buddy Guy,,Joe Bonamassa,,,and if you get a chance, go see em',,their recordings don't hold a candle to what you will experience "live"--have fun.
JC approves....he told me so. (F-1 nut)

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Keb Mo maybe somebody that you may enjoy as well. The Martin Scorsese Presents the blues series may be something you could look for as well....Keb Mo is one of them.
