Subwoofer Compatibility w/Surroundbar Question.

I have an old Monitor 6 Series 2 subwoofer. It has two sets of spring loaded speaker terminals labeled left and right. I was planning on using it with a 6.1 AVR and a Surroundbar.

Can anyone tell me if this combo will work please?

    It's a Monitor 6 series 2 subwoofer, and with your mains set to large, wire it inline with the front L&R on the surroundbar.
