I don't think that it is his actual setup.

Filling one of the VTI 404's I would have enough lead shot to open my own shooting gallery.
Tecmo, that cherry MDF, black poles and silver spikes/caps is very nice. That may be my route although I would do the 404.

Has anyone ever seen modular racks that have narrower shelves? I would love this type of settup but it is just too wide for me room. I would like the shelves that are holding the monoblocks to be narrower.

What width are you looking for Mike. I will keep an eye out. Turning those sideways only decrease by 3".

I never thought of that. That would put the unit at about 56" wide vs. 66.5" wide (assuming 2" tubing). The only problem with that is that the gear in the center would have to sit inside the unit ie. wouldn't be able to be faced.

    Something to think about.

Unfortunately, probably not much of a market for 16-18" shelves.

    Thanks,
    Mike

I've been thinking about just a cherry wood butcher block amp stand until I came across this thread. How does the cherry look on the MDF? Is it actual veneer or painted finish? Has it been durable for you guys so far?

Just walked up to the front of my office to pick up my new Lovan stand! Can't wait to put it together. I've already sketched out a few possible arrangements for the new setup.

Anyone own this model? It's the Lovan Classic CL1B-22. I'm a little worried about the three foot setup, but I'm sure it will be fine. My deepest component is my MF A308 at 16.5 inches deep, but I think it will be okay.

Need to find some lead shot!
