Red dot scanners

Was in Barnes and Noble the other day,
and they had just installed a cool system.
Red dot scanners allow you to pick any cd in the music department and simply hold it up to the scanner; put on headphones and instantly hear the cd.
Guess they have everything loaded onto mp3 or something.
No more buying an album of crap, because you heard one song on the radio that you liked.

That's bad ****! I read about that system about a year ago in Sound and Vision. I wondered how long it would take for a big store to make use of it.
Too bad there's no B&N near me now. God, this place is deprived.

You can bet they'll be coming to a theater
..err...store near you.
I imagine all the big outfits will have them within a year tops.

So, if I scanned the red dot on my Hindu friends head does that mean I can hear all the chants he has stored in memory?
It's late, what can I say. But, you have to admit....no one else would have come up with that.Political Correctness'.........defined
