    Michael,
You're right, the site is like his audio system, incredibly dense. On the left side of the home page, open up "audiophile satire". He gives impressions of using different audio brands. Kind of like word association. McIntosh makes him think of "chewing cotton". Mark Levinson makes him think of "keeping a bare 120 V wire between the teeth". He's got Revel, B&W and lots more, pretty insightful. Also look at the "audio demoronizater AD-1" an imaginary audio invention to help misguided owners who don't trust their own judgment.
I love the two turntables being driven by one motor and all those tonearm/cartridge combinations. The speakers, alone, are a work of mystical art. This guy is a direct descendant of a 17th century alchemist, vials of bubbling vapor, working decades to convert lead to gold. The shelves full of records over the top of doors, connecting cables that look like Popeye's arms all coming down to this tiny RCA plug. If you want to scare your wife into believing, "it could be worse", use this site.
I think audiophiles who base their systems around ultra-high efficiency speakers and tiny powered exotic tube amplifiers are the most eccentric. But, if you take the time to look at things from his point of view and suspend judgment you can see the purity of his goals. Any body who makes his cat the center of attention is alright, in my book.

    That's hilarious.

    Thx, Ken.

This one killed me: Stereophile Magazine Being raped, receiving an invoice for “the service” and then sending the check out.

Hey, Ken, in the oddball world of Asian hi-fi, you would tri-amp using SE tubes on the top end and either SE or push-pull on the woofer, with active crossovers...tube, of course.
