I have 2 of them. I have been pondering on what to do with them. So I'll ask opinions here.
I must have been dreaming, but I swear I read somewhere, years ago, that these HK's could be bridged.
I sure hope so, I hate to get rid of them or have them sit in a dusty attic. They have an awsome smooth sound, but not alot of juice. I wish i knew what to do with them.

No can do. What you have are two old time receivers that are pretty decent, but nothing outstanding. The larger 430 and 630 models were much better.
The sound is rolled off at the top, but not offensively so. The bottom end is pretty big and round, not real tight, but again, not bad. The midrange, while not great, is very pleasant, although a bit "closed in" sounding. I've driven a variety of speakers with mine over the years before it was retired. Still have it. Brought it out a few years ago to give it a real "educated" listen. Mine got me through college and quite a few years after.

Thanks for the responce Mark.
It is a great little reciever. I guess it will retire to my little vintage hall of fame box. Maybe my son will bring it back to life in the future.Monitor 7b's front
