Somebody in a earlier thread pointed me in the direction of buying a Soundcraftsmen. I haven't bought one yet but I have found one for quite cheap. Are these amps any good? I want a lot power but I also want a good clean sound. The one i'm looking at is a Soundcraftsmen s860. Any help would be appreciated.

Well built equipment; much right on the cusp between consumer and pro gear. I've found their amps to be somewhat rough or unsophisticated sounding, but I haven't heard 'em all...

Why would you want an amplifier that is designed to power speakers at a concert? In order to do that they have big noisy fans to keep them cool. That's the reason they are so cheap. Which should sound just lovely accompanying your music.

You have a HOME theater, so get a HOME theater amplifier.
