I had some spare oak lying around and decided to take the bottom off of my RTA 11t's and put some legs on. Spikes will be next.
I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D

www.oregondv.com makes some killer speaker plinths. I used mine on a pair of Mirage OM-9 with some noticeable success. You have the same idea, just giving you some pictures to look at.

These are from Soundocity and are a little cheaper. Notice the Polk Audio speaker :D

CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Thanks Mark,

Yeah I think the spikes will tighten up the bass and improve the overall look of the speaker(s). The original bases were crap. I tried to make a leg/foot that worked with the design of the speaker. So far I am zippy out of pocket. I will look into ordering some spikes.
