Inexpensive HTIB
My girlfriends son who is 14 just loves my media room, which frankly he is welcome to use anytime he wants. They just built a house to move near me, which as new homeowners in my fancy neighborhood put them on a budget.
They have a room in the house dedicated to HT pre-wired for on wall. Any suggestions on an inexpensive 5.1 system? Best quality for $350 and under. I can probably provide a spare BW LCR60 for center.

Look at the polk R series from outpost.
A buddy of mine got 2 R-15's to use as his center for $50 (he is only using one) and 4 R-50's for $60 each. Throw in another $75 or so for shipping and you are there. I still prefer my LSi system to his - but it sounds pretty good especially considering the price difference.
The other (obvious) option would be go retro. You should be able to find a pair of SDA 1b's (or 2b's) and a pair of monitor 7's close to your price. If not - swap the 1b's for monitor 10's and add a center channel. (their first big upgrade could be purchasing the RDO tweets) It would sound killer and not be a ton of cash.

As an example of the deals out there - I just purchased my Monitor 10's (series 2) from a GoodWill store for $28. I still prefer the sound of my LSi's, but these are much closer than I would have thought and I would have no problem living with a system of all Monitor 10's. I am sure you could end up with 5 of them for less than $300.Mains.............Polk LSi15 (Cherry)
Center............Polk LSiC (Crossover upgraded)
Surrounds.......Polk LSi7 (Gloss Black - wood sides removed and crossovers upgraded)
Subwoofers.....SVS 25-31 CS+ and PC+ (both 20hz tune)
Pre\Pro...........NAD T163 (Modded with LM4562 opamps)
Amplifier.........Cinepro 3k6 (6-channel, 500wpc@4ohms) -
