This is only my 3rd set of fronts to own (Monitor 70's and Rti10's were before) and I think it is fair to say this is the last set of fronts speakers I will ever buy.

I bought them used so they were already broken in out of the box. The rosewood finish is absolutely beautiful. Been listening to them for 4 days straight. Music feels ALIVE with these speakers. They are neutral sounding speakers, so what you put in is what you get out.

The first thing I noticed was that the bass extention was more than I thought possible in a floorstander! They were hitting down into the upper 20's hz regions. I had to recalibrate my sub and lower it down quite a bit to adjust to this. The bass is very tight and clean. Also surprising is that they do a great job of disappearing while spreading out a wall of music that easily fills the room/house/neighborhood.

The tweeters are first rate. They reveal much more detail, clairty and resolution than my Rti10's minus the brightness (I know it's not fair to compare them since they are 3 times the price). Highs are detailed yet smooth at the same time. There's no fatigue, which means I can listen to them at very high volumes without the tweeter hurting my ears.

I was completely blown away by listening to Michael Murray's Organ Blaster CD by Telarc. It's got pipe organs recorded in cathedrals. It filled my whole house with these powerful and engaging performances. I could feel the music in every cell of my body. I also listen to Jazz and rock and everything I put in there sounded like a new song because there was so much more music in there that I wasn't hearing before. :D
