Hello i just purchased my first set of polks. They are great and i want to continue with more. I have the 5jr i want 7's as fronts and the 5jr as rears. My question becomes what center to get because i dont beleive that any centers were made to match at this time. Let me know what to look for or flat out recommend a center. Thanks.

According to polk it would be the CSI-5.

Here is the link to which center works best.

If you are DIY capable, I built a center for a friend who had Monitor 10's and 5's. I bought a set of Monitor 10 mid/woofs, tweeter, and cross-over off of eBay, and built a center speaker type cabinet to house them. We experimented with box size by making the box deeper than needed, and then scooting the back in and out until we found what sounded right.

    HT System: LSi9, LSiCx2, LSiFX, LSi7, SVS 20-39 PC+, B&K 507.s2 AVR, B&K Ref 125.2, Tripplite LCR-2400, Cambridge 650BD, Signal Cable PC/SC, BJC IC, Samsung 55" LED

Music System: Magnepan 1.6QR, SVS SB12+, ARC pre, Parasound HCA1500 vertically bi-amped, Jolida CDP, Pro-Ject RM5.1SE TT, Pro-Ject TubeBox SE phono pre, SBT, PS Audio DLIII DAC

You can pick up CSi5's for around $250 on eBay if you watch. I notice a hint of the Queen's english in your spelling, are you in the UK? That will add to shipping costs! I don't see why an older center like the CSi40 wouldn't work also. FWIW - the DIY option involved about $80 for the Monitor 10 components off of eBay, and probably another $50 in materials.

I want rule out building it from scratch. I can put speakers in a box and connect cross overs but I do not want to fabricate a box. Might lose a finger.
    thanks

If you dont want to build, then your best bet is here in the FS, or Ebay. I would save alittle cash and buy "pre owned"
