    Heard it at Chicagofest. That's a sweet sounding pre; you won't get anything near it at three times that price. I'm sure it's been sold already.

    I volunteer you next time dkg....:D . This is a killer pre and then add in the fact you can get them dirt cheap on the used market. I've had minse since new in 1986 and until I go ultra high-end there's no need to get anything else. I think it's that good.

    Nak made a flagship model CA-7 which was remote controlled but they come up seldomly FS and they still get $500-800 used depending on condition. The CA-7 is an even nicer pre but perhaps not for the difference in price between the two.
