Yeah, the Pats are my team, but there's no way you don't take the points there.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I take it back. Im going with the Pats. I just watched the highlight film on Inside the NFL and they are just too good. I mean they beat one of the best teams in the league by 24 points, they should mow thru the Bills. True LT isnt doing as well as he did last year, but the Chargers are still a very solid team but they looked like a high school football team next to the Pats last week.

    Gawdamighty!

What on earth made me think I could participate in this thing. If the Titans win thatll be 5. 2 straight weeks with a measly 5. Of course if it werent for the spreads, I would have 10 this week and 9 last week.

    Ugh.

Man, I started off strong, but.... these past two weeks have been some bizarre turns in the old NFL. San Diego getting beaten by a Herm Edwards-coached KC?? Arizona beating Pittsburgh? Crazy talk.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Well, Arizona is travelling to St. Louis to play the illustrious Rams.

The game is blacked out locally for the first time since the New Year's Eve game in .... 2001 ?

The 83 fans attending the game will be cheering for Kurt Warner, ex-Rams QB and pretty decent guy.

.......and I haven't seen her lately, but Brenda Warner used to be HOT !

What's that have to do with the NFL games ? Nothing, really. But, then again, neither do the Rams.

    :(

And, MrNightly, we picked the Chiefs to win this week, straight up.

I'm pretty sure Kurt Warner's wife is kind of infamous for being... um... unattractive. I remember when the Pats played th Rams in the '01 Super Bowl, that was kind of a running joke. And that was 6 years ago.

11 wins between first and last place right now for active pool participants, and there are 12 weeks left. 18 participants are within 5 wins of the lead.

Stay in the fight guys, it's still ANYONES game.

I have a very bad feeling for the game between cincy and kc, Mr B. But regardless, the homer in me picked them to cover the spread... since it IS in our house.. not that it helped much last week...

They need to start the kid at QB. Maybe Priest will come back next week! Yah :D

    Question...
If I picked Tampa Bay to win by 3...and they won by 3. How come I didn't get a pretty red X?

if favored by 3 and win by three, its technically a tie
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Because TB was favored to win and they did not beat the 3 pt spread. In other words, TB had to win by at least 4 pts to "cover" the spread and for us to get that nice red X in our pool. It's called a push (a.k.a tie) and no one wins
