Soooooooooooooo.....Money is tight, but I would like to pick up a cheap turntable, and came across this one on the bay that happens to be local....HERE is the turntable....What do you think? I know I will need to re-do the ghetto RCA job he did, but besides that is it an ok table?

If you can manage to save up another $115 you can break into the new rash of entry level turntables produced by turntable manufacturers. That NAD looks really purty but receiving used turntables shipped is risky business. I have the original boxes for my modded VPI MK II but I wouldn't ship it for any amount of money.
I'm sorry to burst you ballon here buddy but I think you can do better with just a little more patience. -
He's local, so there is no shipping issue...He is actually almost right around the corner from here...:D I am hoping I can get him to cancel his auction, and sell it to me cheaper....:D

I thought he was in Minnesota and was also thinking you'd be paying shipping and ins.. In that case heck you've got nothing to loose. -

FWIW,, save your money and get something better,if you are really serious about vinyl, as the upgrade bug will bite you.Look for a good VPI or Sota with a decent arm, just my .02 worth,,good luck:)JC approves....he told me so. (F-1 nut)
