I was more asking if you thought they were CRS+ Studio or real wood. Or if there is even a difference? I should have questioned that better.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I thought it was a good deal but figured I ask. You all know the market better.

2 sets for 500.00 with cables and they are spotless. Nice couple owned them. The wife told me they used them for maybe a couple weeks when they first bought them new and that was about it. What a shame.

Not sure how they will sound with my SDA2's original ones with the silver tweets. Need to upgrade the tweeters to harsh.

May just save the CRS's for something bigger. :D

Are the cables pin/blade or blade/blade. Did you get the stands?

Do you mean each pair or for both pairs? I would think each pair.

I still need to pick them up. So I am not sure if they are Pin-Pin or Pin-Blade. Looking at the picture he sent me which I think they are Pin-Blade.
He never mentioned stands. He had them on bookshelves so I would think no stands. It is OK since I plan on using them on bookshelves also.

Great buy, if they are in as good of shape as the frontal pics portray.

Ok, if they are pin/blade they are worth $300.00 the pair. If they are blade/blade they are worth $250.00 the pair. The stands are worth $100.00 the pair.

Although they are called bookshelf speakers they were not designed to actually sit on a bookshelf. Due to the nature of the speakers, they will sound much better on stands.

The ones you're looking at are black ash vinyl.
