Does anybody know if Adcom is planning on releasing any new pre-pro's this year?

Probably not. If you go the web site many of their products from even a few years ago aren't listed. My guess is the only HT product they will continue to offer is the new GFR receiver. Don't expect too much more than that, but I could be wrong as it's just a guess.

    Thanks.

I'm thinking of purchasing the Adcom GTP-870HD. Does anybody have this pre-pro or have opinions on this unit?

I asked Adcom about any upcoming receivers/pre's with HDMI 1.3, and it looks like a no go for a while. There was a mention that there are issues with that version of the standard and they want to stand back for a moment and let the dust settle instead of putting out a product with a feature that might be junk within a short period of time.

    Thanks for the info.

Next time you speak to them ask them if the "Gold Series" is still in production. GFA-5802; GFP-750; GCD-750. They don't list them on the website so I've been wondering if they are still in production.

You'll probably get as good of an answer as I would from contacting CS at Adcom :)
