I have a question, I just bought the mmc5250 for my fronts and mmc6500 for the rears and plan on hooking these up to the c400.4 amp. Do you guys think this is a good setup? Also, how do I hook them up? Do I just devote each channel to each speaker/crossover? I want to run the amp at 2ohms is it possible with these speakers? How would I wire that up to run the at 2ohms? I am new to this and I appreciate all of you help, Thanks!

why do u want 2 ohms, the mmc6500 are 125w RMS at 4 ohms, u wont even get close to maxing that out if u want to keep your ears from being killedededdded.
U will go one speaker cable to each crossover (which has directions on it) and then it will split off to tweater and woofer and thats it.

You run each set of speakers off each channel.

The only way to run 2 ohms would be to run 2 speakers off each channel.

As far as sq is concerned, your setup is a little strange. You always want to run the better quality speakers and more power up front so the soundstage is in front of you. I would run the mmc6500's active up front utilizing the pre eq button and just get the mmc650's or mmc525 running off your head unit in the rear. Trust me, I am right on this one.

Eh, not a fan of running rear speakers off the head unit.

Id rather run them off the rear channels of the amp. Much easier to tune in their level to blend in better with the fronts. Plus its much more clean power. 75-95 watts cleanly as opposed to 6-7.
