Harmon Kardon AVR 325

Have you guys heard any good reviews on this receiver. It's a 7.1-Channel A/V Receiver - AVR325. I currently have a Yamaha HTR-5890.

Just asking, which is better for my RTI10's (floorstanding) + csi30(Center Speaker) + RTi38 (Bookshelf)

I think the Yamaha is better...

I am buying the center piece (csi30) + RTi38 (Bookshelf) and she's throwing in the HK AVR 325 for free for $300.

I need advice, and I might be selling atleast one of my receivers.

    I have the 335 and a 340, they are a very good receivers. I prefered the sound of the HK over my old Yam. keep the HK and sell it since you are getting it for free.

    How much you think the AVR 325 is worth? It's hard to find on the internet for sale.

    What you think about the bookshelf and center piece?

    I don't know those speakers, so can't comment. I'm thinking if it's NIB you can get in the 200s for it.

    Also, (noobie question): Do you put the bookshelf speakers vertically or horizontally?

    The 325 is at least 6 years old...fairly senior for an AVR.

    Combo rig:

    Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
