i have been saving all my change for the last month or so and have $45-50 to spend. i think im going to spend this on cd's but i am wondering if it would make more since to spend it on sacd's that can be played in a normal cd player so that when i buy a sacd player (Christmas?) i will have something to play. well ether way what are some good classic rock cd's that are must haves?

if there is a thred like this sorry i did not see it.

    Classic Rock SACD's:

--Rolling Stones Beggars Banquet (the ABKCO Records are SACD even though they don't say so)
--Bob Dylan Blood on the Tracks
    --Roxy Music Avalon
    --Allman Brothers Eat a Peach

    And of course....

--Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon

    I highly recommend them all.

I often go to cduniverse.com, and cdbaby.com is a great source for independent artists.

We often get our SACD's from http://store.acousticsounds.com/sacd.cfm?section=sacd&keywords=g_sacd&gclid=CIzu1vain4sCFRkuSgodWEHRiw Acoustic Sounds. They've usually got a great selection of Hybrid CD/SACD's. Enjoy!!

I'm surprised no one mentioned yourmusic.com....$6.99/per CD or SACD shipped.

Just received the Kinks' "Low Budget" SACD for $6.99. That's a great deal anyway you look at it.

What seems to suck about their website is that you can't "search" for SACD stuff as far as I can see. Maybe I'm missing something. That would be a helluva deal and I would buy some if I knew what they had! Thanks for the heads up!

Led Zeppelin Early Days/Latter days set, Led Zeppelin IV, Led Zeppelin II, Led Zeppelin Houses of the Holy.

You MUST have at least one Zeppelin album in your collection if you think you even like classic rock...

Also: Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers Greatest Hits*
    Steve Miller Band Greatest Hits*
Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here*
    Best of David Bowie*
    Eric Clapton Time Pieces*
    Bad Company 10 from 6
    A Elton Greatest Hits*
    The Beatles 1
    The Beach Boys Greatest Hits
    The Car's Greatest Hits
    CCR's Greatest Hits*
    U2 Joshua Tree*
Jimi Hendrix The Jimi Hendrix Experiment*
    Boston's Greatest Hits
    Lynyrd Skynyrd's Greatest Hits
    Queen's Greatest Hits*
    The Who's Greatest Hits*
    ZZ Top Greatest Hits

I wouldn't consider a CD collection complete if it was missing any of the *'s

Hell, buy all the Zeppelin, Queen, Pink Floyd you can - Not too many bad songs (IMO, Zeppelin only had one)
God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8

Using " SACD" (that's a space before SACD), do a search under "Album Title". You should get about 50 SACD titles.
