I just purchased and LSiC to match my Lsi15's and after hooking it to my Denon 3805 and listing to it in 5 channel stereo i only hear audio from the right side and nothing from the left side. I'd switch back to my old one and i hear audio from both side. Does this mean I have a defected LSiC?

    Welcome Fish.

Try putting in a movie. If you hear sound out of both sides that means it's fine. The LSI's are set up a different frequencies. Do a search here on the board about the LSIC.

I tried a movie and I still only hear sound from the right side. I switched back to old old Polk RM2500 and I hear sound from both sides. Am I doing something wrong?

Do you have the factory jumpers on?
    Are you bi-wiring?

I am not bi-wired. I didn't receive and jumpers in my box. So reading the post here I see that they are required in order to get sound out of the left side.

If there are no jumpers on the back of the speakers - you should not get any sound out of either woofer (or any out of the tweeter depending on where you speaker wire is hooked up.) When you look at the back of the speaker where the speaker wire connects to the speaker, there are no brass jumpers running from one set of red posts to the other set of red posts (and another jumper for the black posts)?

Reread some of the posts I quoted above - you should be fine. If you really want to see the left woofer used alot - set the center to large in your AVR. (note I did not say it would sound best like this - just that the left woofer will be used more)

If you set the speaker to "large" on your processor, you should notice significant vibration and bass from the left driver....but, when set to "small" it barely vibrates at all and is virtually inaudible. When I first got mine, I was baffled (pun intended) too. It's just that the left woofer only kicks in 200hz and below..... Polk advises that you set it to small, so, that's what I've done. It seems that the speaker design really under utilizes the left driver, but I've decided not to worry about it. I will say I am very pleased with the LSiC....superb dialogue and clarity, and music blends in nicely with the rest of my system.
