Hi all, im new to the forum and i'm trying to get the dimensions right so that i can build a sub enclosure for my new db124 12" sub. The website specifies overall external dimensions of 15" x 17" x 10- 1/16", however, when i subtract 1.5" off each dimension to ascertain the internal dimensions, the calculation for the internal volume leaves me with 1.03 cubic feet. ie 13,5" x 15.5" x 8.56" = 1791.18, divided by 1728 = 1.0365 cubic feet. are the specs on the website incorrect or am i doing something wrong? I have the opportunity to purchase a 1 cubic foot sealed enclosure but i'm not sure how well the sub will perform in it. Any thoughts?

1.03 will be fine for that sub. Build the box like the plans state and youll be ok. Actually a 1.4 will give the flattest response.
