Don't know much about vintage polk speakers. What would be a good price for a pair of used Monitor 5JRs? Have the opportunity to pick up a set.

Thanks.

I ended up finding a pair at a garage sale for $15. They are in pretty good condition. I need to clean them up a little. The bottoms of the enclsoures are pretty scratched but who's going to see that anyway. I need to clean them up a little. I hooked them up and they sound fine.

WTF, doesn't anyone follow the rules anymore. New posters show up asking how much something is worth and end up selling outside the flea market and skirting the rules. Why do we even have rules or for that matter the flea market? Come on people use some common sense and follow the proper forum decorum. This is getting ridiculous. Soemone's going to get burned, mark my words it happens all the time.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to break the rules. I just sent him a pm to understand what his friend is trying to do. I just bought the speakers and not looking to turn a profit on them.

Just an observation as it seems many things are changing hands w/o proper protocol. Not pointing fingers at anyone in particular just a general comment about the "state of the state".

    carry on
