My present set-up is Monitor 30s all around and a monitor CS1 for the center.

I would like to upgrade the system as follows:
Change the Monitor CS1 to a CSi5.
Use two CS1s as Mains.(I don`t have enough height space in the wall unit to use Monitor 40`s
The rears would remain Monitor 30`s.
Does anyone see a problem with this configuration?

I don't suggest using center channel speakers as mains. I'm not sure about the monitor line, but many center channel speakers are designed differently and have a different crossovers (and sound) than what most would usually want for main speakers.

If you want to upgrade, consider the RTi or RTi 2008 lines.

Never heard of that before, but I'm also suspicious about it. Contact Polk customer service and ask them about it to know for sure.

Agree with Phuz, save your money and get Rti's

That is great advice, thanks for your input.
