    Great question as there is no bias towards Polk on the Polk site...
    Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.

    Home Setup: Sony VPL-VW85 Projo, 92" Stewart Firehawk, Pioneer Elite SC-65, PS3, RTi12 fronts, CSi5, FXi6 rears, RTi6 surround backs, RTi4 height, MFW-15 Subwoofer.

    Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener.

    Listen to both sets first, then see if your ears agree with the "club Polk" way of thinking...

    An amp with at least 60 watts RMS should be fine. As far as which one to choose, follow Greg's advice. Take a couple of your favorite cd's and listen to both sets, try to match them up with an amp that will have the amount of power you want to give them.

    179 is an amazing deal for them, i got mine for 160 i think and that was with 60% off retail, so thats pretty good.

    As far as those kickers, i have heard both, those are the only 2 components circuit city carries, i used to work at one, like a month ago, and im not being bias towards polk, but i actualy would have got the kickers for cheaper, but the polk sounded much cleaner imo.
