I love my Salamander stand..I may be selling it though. You can go to their website and kinda custom build one and then pick it up at your local retailer or they will deliver it and set it up. They are not cheap though...

Click on my sig, I built the A/V stand holding all the gear. You can probaly build a stand for a 1/3 of the cost of going out and buying one if you have the tools, time and knowledge and you get exactly what you want.Money Talks, Mine says Goodbye Rob!!!!

Nice job on the stand and the HT!
I'm looking for something with doors to make it less of a temptation for my 2 yr son. I'm thinking about this studiotech stand.

No kidding. Every time we see it, it gets better and better. The man's on a mission.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

What are those little speakers doing on either side of the windows?

Yamaha is big on using 2 front presence channels for added effect ....his AVR uses them as does my DSP A1000.
The RX-Z9 delivers a huge 170W to each
of seven channels (two front, one center,
two surround and two surround back), as
well as 50W to the two presence (front
effect) channels. The first rule of Fight Club is you don't talk about Fight Club -
I have the Salamander Triple 20 in cherry. I love it, but it's expensive. I think mine was $1450; I did the black mesh panels on the sides and doors, and left the center section open (no door). It is extremely well built, the top & bottom panels are either 3/4" or 1" thick (can't remember) and weigh a ton.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2
