I had one bad experience with them, but it appears my case was unique.

Click on my sig, I built the A/V stand holding all the gear. You can probaly build a stand for a 1/3 of the cost of going out and buying one if you have the tools, time and knowledge and you get exactly what you want.

Nice job on the stand and the HT!

I'm looking for something with doors to make it less of a temptation for my 2 yr son. I'm thinking about this studiotech stand.

Sorry to bump this older thread, but after checking out StudioTech I'm seriously considering purchasing their ultra u22-t. Zamps, did you end up getting one? How do you like it? Anyone else have any first hand experience with these?

Thanks, but I'm looking for a little different look from the Boltz. I really like the look of StudioTech. I'd love to hear anyone's first hand experience with them.

Yamaha is big on using 2 front presence channels for added effect ....his AVR uses them as does my DSP A1000.

The RX-Z9 delivers a huge 170W to each
of seven channels (two front, one center,
two surround and two surround back), as
well as 50W to the two presence (front
    effect) channels.

I have the Salamander Triple 20 in cherry. I love it, but it's expensive. I think mine was $1450; I did the black mesh panels on the sides and doors, and left the center section open (no door). It is extremely well built, the top & bottom panels are either 3/4" or 1" thick (can't remember) and weigh a ton.
