kenwood kdc-x991 TOMORROW!!!!!!

well after waiting forever my excelon kdc-x991 is in! im going to philly tomorrow to pick it up and will install it tomorrow. i cant to play with it and see if i like it that much better than the x-990. i got a great price, $400 out the door from an authouized dealer. crutchfield wants $650. i was going to sell the x-990, but my girl claimed it. i will be selling her x-889 though. well i will let you know how things go. its like christmas all over again.:D

    well, i have it installed and im playing with the settings. i love the display and the rubber around the control knob is a big improvment. i also love the independent 5 channel time alignment. i will get back later.

    Rubber around the volume know FTW! I really like that on my Eclipse CD8454, basically the whole knob was rubbery, except for the center.

    well after playing with it the imaging is dead nuts on. the sound quality is outstanding and it is a big step up from the x990. the 5 channel time alignment really helped alot and the ipod control is insane! just like having the ipod in your hand! its the best head unit i ever used, until next year. i will post pics later.

    Can you tell me who the authorized dealer is? I don't have the $650 crutchfield is still asking for the x991 ...

    its called stereo sound in philadelphia. they have the best deals around. the number is 215-592-8468 ask for danny, he will hook you up. they sell almost everything.
