Are these modded SDA-2's perhaps? They are close to me but don't really need another pair of speakers. Looks a bit like a DIY with an existing speaker.

Those are RTA 12's. There were a couple of different versions of it. I'm sure someone else will chime in about which one they are.

as cfrizz said.. those are RTA 12's. they have not been modded.. thats how they was built. with the tweeter and crossover built on the outside on top of the box.

Yeah, RTA12's. My guess is they're RTA12b's to be exact. & They look to be in pretty good shape.
The seller hasn't labeled them well - didn't even use their correct model number - so they might not get a lot of hits. Since they're close to you, you could snag'em for the asking price and let me tell you, they're WORTH IT! I have the RTA12C's and they're terrific. Do a search on here and you'll find that they're very highly recommended.
