Depends on the electronics you mate them with, but generally they are a little warm and refined.

i am going to pair them with an onkyo 805. most people have said that those speakers require lots of power so i should get a dedicated amp. i would like to get only one 5 or 7 channel amp. any thoughts on a good amp. i would pay $1000 but most of those i have looked up are $1500.

Laid back, warm to neutral. They can be mated to just about any soild state, high current, moderate power, amplifier.

The usual suspects can be found by doing a serach as this has been covered many times before.

Going used will give you the best bang for the buck. I would snatch that Sunfire NOW!
