So the family and I went to Branson last week for a little vacation. They had the '57 Heaven Museum at Dick Clark's American Bandstand. It is the largest collection of purely '57 model cars. Included in this are every American convertible model made in 1957. I assumed that I couldn't take a camera because every other place(including other museums we went to) wouldn't allow you to, I was wrong. Luckily I had the camera phone. Some of the pictures are a little blurry. Enjoy, I sure did.

Edit: By far the coolest things that I noticed on these cars, the exhaust pipes integrated into the bumper so that it gave some really clean lines and a custom look to a factory car. Oh yeah, and for you analog guys, they had a couple of DeSoto's with factory optioned 16 2/3 turntables as part of the stereo. I tried to get pics of it, but without a flash you couldn't see it.
I know just enough to be dangerous, but don't tell my wife, she thinks I'm a genius. :D

Pioneer VSX-816
Monitor 40's - fronts, bi-amped
Monitor 30's - surrounds
CS1 - center
PSW10 - I'll let you guess
Blue Jeans Cable - speaker cable
Daewoo 27 incher - one step up from a console
Sony Progressive scan DVD
XBOX

SOPA since 2008
Here's my stuff.

If you look up the DeSoto "Adventurer" Convertible you should be able to find some more info on it. It was the "Highway HiFi" option. Apparently you could only purchase the records from Chrysler dealerships which also had them as options on the 300C convertibles.

Here's the website for the place I was. '57 Heaven
Click on "Collection Information" to see each of the cars along with some info about them.

Dang, man. Those are GREAT quality pics for a camera phone. They're three times as good as they'd have been with my phone!

Lots of sweet looking cars, too. But...where's the Belair??

Unfortunately, the lighting around the Belair's wasn't that great, so all the shots of them turned out blurry. But they were awesome looking in person!

That's it. I was just looking for the same thing.

    Here's a magazine advertisement about it. Ad.jpg

Surely they had one of these on display....

They did, but again, the lighting wasn't good enough to get a good picture.
