We finally got her a new car. It is a Lexus IS 350. Now, how do I swap out the speakers? Every where I look, there is no one (including Polk) that says they carry speakers that will fit. We really like the Nav. package, and I figured that if I dynamat the doors and trunk, then put in an amp and speakers, this car could have a great system. Anyone have any ideas?

If my brother kept his 250 long enough, I might have been able to help you out. Had a few tranny problems though :( Good luck, though!

Thanks for the replies. If it was me, I would have built the car around the stereo, and not the other way around. LOL

Im not familiar with that ride so I cant say for sure. You might want to head down to your local shop and hit them up for some advice.

She got it in "obsidian" or as us common folk call it, black.

That thing is a blast to drive, I am tempted to take the car (with sup par audio) and give my wife the truck with the nice audio. We took it for a weekend road trip to Destin, FL. and all I can say is that I really hate speed limits now! LOL You would get on the road and before you know it, the spedometer is flashing the red lights, warning you that you are doing 80. It felt like I was only doing 40.

Is it possible that Pioneer and Eclipse designed the audio / nav system respectivly? The reason I'm asking, is because the salesman said that the audio system is made by pioneer. He didn't say, and I didn't ask if it was just the speakers or the head unit. Also, I was just looking through a issue of Card Audio and Electronics, and I noticed that the nav. system display looks just like the display in our car. It does not have the Mark Levinson audio system.
