anyone know how reliable the refurbished HK are on eBay or on
http://www.harmanaudio.com/search_browse/default.asp?sp=S&brand=HK&market=HOM
can they be trusted or is it too good to be true??
or should i just buy a new one at best buy?? -
I'm not sure how they are now, but HK had some quality issues for a while there. I had two refurb products - AVR-510 and DVD-50, and both had to be re-re-re-re-furbed and still had problems.

I'm not sure about the 347 but the 247 has a bug where the LFE output is 10dB lower than it should be via some HDMI formats...I'd imagine since the two units are very similar that the 347 would have this issue as well. Sounds like it's a huge problem for those who are afflicted...may want to think twice. Sure do like the HK sound though..
