Visiting for the weekend for a wedding, and thought I'd take a look on the local Craigslist.

Ended up picking up a pair of RT2000Ps (7/10 rating) with some decent Monster cables for $300. He even threw in a CS300 center channel for no extra charge.

Needless to say I feel like I hit the jackpot. :D

I managed to fit them in the back seat of my Accord coupe. It's a tight fit, but it will work. They will be replacing the Energys, though who knows for how long. :)

Great setup, great price. There are some RT/FX on ebay now (no affil) that would round out a vintage RT systems nicely.
Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

I have them, great score! as well as the RT/FX. I just scored a good flat screen and am hoping to have the HT rig up and running within two weeks. Good luck Dane.

It crossed my mind. :) But when I arrive late Friday night, have a wedding all day Sat, and leave Sun morning, I don't have many options.

That being said, if anyone wants to meet me at Fry's off 355 around 11 today, I think I'm gonna swing by. We don't have those up in MN. :p

Nice. I saw Fry's sells the LSi9s for $809/pr now. Still too rich for my blood, so I didn't bite. I really wanted to buy something there, though.

Yeah, but the story wouldn't be as good if you'd gotten them instead.
