Comes out Tuesday, doesn't it?

Who is getting it? I preordered it for the 360. Should have it the first day. It'd be fun to do a Polk tournament if there are enough people that pick it up eventually.

I just ordered '07 (friend has it) to go with my new PS3 so no '08 for me, I'll skip that one.

Definitely, absolutely, 100%. I've already got 2 draft classes saved up from NCAA; working on having 4 by Tuesday :/

Here is my mini review. I've played on exhibition game.

    Visuals -
Seems like it has a much smoother framerate.
Stadiums look much better, have better detail.
Players mostly look the same, but I'll say they are slightly better.

    Gameplay-
Much faster. It reminds me of the ESPN game from a couple years back. The pace of play is much better and feels more like a real game. Madden 07 and 06 always seemed slow and like players were jogging.
Tackling is more realistic. More realistic breaking of tackles, sometimes you just get pushed out of bounds unlike last year.
Passing is more realistic. Even at Pro difficulty, not every pass is a completion. You have to make better choices when throwing the ball.

    AI- pass coverage is tougher/better.

So, anyways, its still more similar than different compared to last year. You certainly can just pick up the game and play if you are familiar to the last two years. But the changes that are there are for the better. Oh, Create-A-Player is back, yeah!

I hate it, but this is completely true. I couldn't believe it, but after my 2nd 360 died in the middle of an NCAA game, I traded it in on a PS3. After seeing NCAA on both, I can safely say that the 360 looked much better. It seems like the crowd is even blurred a bit on the PS3 so as to make up for the lesser FPS, but it still looks a bit poopy in comparison.

I hate it, b/c I enjoy the Blu-ray player, but I bought this thing primarily for gaming...

Well I just got the game and am about to put it in the X Box 360. I have never played it or many games since I just but the 360 so wish me luck.

    Cool.

I thought it looked smoother. 30 more frames per second will do that for you. I noticed the better frame rate right away. The difference is quite apparent during different sequences. The game really does run a lot smoother this year.

So is it worth dropping the 60 bones for basically an updated roster?

No, its not just an updated roster. There are many improvements to the gameplay. Its much better than 07.

Played this last night. I found the "playability" to be much improved. Game had a better flow and feel. I don't know if all that is worth $60, but I enjoyed the game more.

Does anyone know how to import the campus legend from ncaa. Do I need to do something is NCAA to "graduate him" or should be be available right off the bat. I didn't see any setting after my sophmore year to enter the draft so I'm in the middle of my junior year.

I'll be picking it up for the Wii... or at least renting it. So we'll get a third vantage point. Too much blood has been spilt at the casa while playing Madden. And lots and lots of tears...

    And beers.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore
