Just got packed and did some last minute tuning. Heading out tomorrow for South Carolina! ESN is about the biggest show of the year next to Daytona and Padre Island Spring Break. This will be my first major, national show. It will also probably be the first time I get spanked like a little ****! At best, Im looking at 3rd place. {gulp} Lots of big dawgs coming out for this one. There will be at least 1 World Champion in my class along with at least 2 cars tuned by World Champions. Its not gonna be pretty.

Still, it should be a great time and Ill get to check out a ton of great sounding systems and hang out with my team mates! We had an absolute blast last year at finals and Im sure this show will be no different.

Ill take lots of pictures and post them when I get back Sunday night.

Oh, and if I dont say where I placed - dont ask - cause its bad and Polk will make me take their speakers out! :p

    Alrighty. Finally getting around to downloading all these pictures and putting some on here.

    Had a blast at the show! Will definitely be back next year. It was very cool to be in the same place as some of the best sounding cars in the world! I got to listen to a ton of great systems and am fired up now more than ever about taking mine to the next level! Im no longer content being the best guy in the Kmart parking lot - I want to be competitive with the big dawgs!

    I did better than I thought. There were 3 world champions in my class and then little old me. I wound up getting 3rd. 1st place was a 79.5 - 2nd was 75.7 - 3rd was 75 and 4th was 74.8!! Talk about close!! Still, I am very proud that I was able to hang so tightly with such talented individuals. I also go the Most Improved award which I thought was pretty cool. Best of all, had an awesome time hanging with my teamates. The best bunch of guys and competitors in the sound off world.

    This is Randy Kunin's Accord and yes thats an 18" sub in a SQ car. Its actually quite cool. 5.25" mids and tweets in the kicks, 18" sub all powered by Zapco and it is one of the best sounding systems Ive ever heard!

    That Civic was awesome! The seems of the fiberglass in the trunk were flawless.

    I prefer the carpet/stealth/stock looking installs but there was no denying the craftmanship of this work.

    Id like to but I kinda doubt it. Its like $85 to get in!!!!

    Im already in the doghouse for spending. ESN was about $250, Ive got 3 State Finals coming up in the next month-and-a-half at around $75 each then World Finals in November for an easy $300. THEN we go to Texas for vacation during Thanksgiving. It aint easy being married, not making a lot of money and having expensive hobbies. :D
