New Polk Subwoofers

I saw the new Polk Audio Subwoofers are out, who will be the first to take the plunge and let us all know what you think. I expect one of these at the Polkfest and then maybe I will go out and get one for the bedroom rig.

There will be one that I know of for sure and Russ may chime in in regards to the "baby".CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Yep, those DSW Pro series. No posted specs, besides that it's a 12". -

The 12" one claims 25Hz - 125Hz @-3dB or 20Hz - 160Hz overall. -
This is all I see, means nothing. BTW, I'm referring to the DSW PRO 600.

Thanks Russ! I'm really interested in what Polk has done with this new line.

I think in this day and age placement EQ really means nothing compared to actual auto EQ for subwoofers. I honestly don't see what could be expsive about this. It took me 5 minutes and a $10 computer mic to write a basic EQ program in MatLab (and I'm not a very good programmer).My Iron Man training/charity blog.
