Looks like the original Van Halen (sans Michael Anthony so I guess it isnt really the original band) will be touring this fall. Does anybody care? I think it's kind of sad without Anthony myself.

Aren't they always talking about having a reunion tour. It's like setting back your clocks... it's an annual occurence.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

I'd rather see them as a complete "set" but I don't see them pulling it off. Too much animosity between them all over the last decade. I'd almost rather listen to the old LP's and CD's and remember the good ol' days when I saw them between 1978 and 1984. Who knows what will happen. You'd think if the promoters waved enough "guarantee" money in their faces, they could put their BS aside. Hell, KISS did it in 1996 and came out smelling like roses.

I bet those early shows were crazy. Wish I could've been to a few of 'em, but a smidge before my time.

Yep, but then each year Eddie's personality takes over and he runs off like an adolescent teen sulking because something doesn't go his way.

It'll happen. Maybe not this fall, but it'll happen.

If the Eagles can do a reunion tour, so can VH.

I want to see it but I will not hold my breath.

I kinda think they will suck out loud because they won't practice together but what do I know.

Does anybody else think David Lee Roth looks like the Cryptkeeper?

I saw them back in the day, they were awsome. I don't think they could come close to the old days and it would just be a let down. I can't se Dave jumping around like he used to or having that sonic scream he had. Eddie just pisses me off anymore.

No, he was a mad man on stage and really added to the bands energy.

They are all too old for that energy now so Wolfie needs to fill that gap.

I am actually kidding, sort of.
