Been waiting for this announcement, didn't expect the either $5K or $5.5K MSRP, though.

    I think I would just go seperates. Thats alot of cash and any way you look at it, the amp is still not as good as a stand alone for less then half the money.

    Hard to find separates with that assortment of features though...

    However Yamaha did incorporate a way to disable the internal amplifier and use it as a preamp this year, which is kinda cool.

    True,but I don't think I would use most of them. It's a nice unit but not worth the money for me.
