I'm excited for Blue Planet and buying it whenever it comes on DVD. That would look amazing on my big screen.

Is it mostly free of all the environmental activism bullshizzle? That was my only hesitation in buying it. I watch Discovery HD Theater all the time and they aren't too preachy, so I'm assuming this won't be either. Can you confirm one way or another?

just all about what it is they are talking about, nothing political that i've seen so far......

And this is coming from someone who just told an environmentalist that global warming doesn't exist and that she was fighting for a fake theory. :D

    Images are fantastic on BluRay.

Demi; not preachy, except a little about global warming. But I haven't watched the last disc yet.

Eh not enough about global warming that would bother you though, from what I have seen so far, only seen 2 discs. I just canceled the rest from netflix and ordered the set.

nope its not, people have figured out how to plug it in into their PC and use a downloadable software just fine for use. Sure it requires a little bit of research and knowledge, but it is deifnately doable by the average person.

Edit: I think the software is called AnyDVD. I have not confirmed this but I'm sure the folks over on AVS can help.
