Quad Shield RG6 or Sub Interconnect

I am contemplating running Quad Shield RG6 for my sub (SVS PB12-Plus/2) and using "F" connectors w/RCA Jacks on each side for a cleaner look. Is there a big sound difference between homemade and a manufactured interconnect?

RG6 will work just fine for sub duty, just make sure your terminations are done correctly. The only drawback will be the stiffness, otherwise you can always A/B another interconnect and make your own conclusions.

I think RG6QS (quad shield) will work fine.

Just make sure that the ends are terminated tightly.

This is exactly what I did, and it works great. Makes a nice clean installation, and I can't help but think that RG-6 Quad is MUCH better than most high-dollar interconnects.
